We’re looking for an exceptional commercial generalist to join Omnea’s customer team. You’ll be excited to deploy a product, build a function, and have a massively accelerated career trajectory.
You’ll be joining us at an incredibly exciting time. Last summer, we raised an initial $5m from two tier 1 VCs and 30+ renowned founders, and we’ve spent the past 12 months building & deploying our platform with well known tech companies. Now we need someone to take ownership of all Product Delivery, Product Config/Ops, & Customer Success. We’ve built an experienced team — every engineer was a top performer & tech lead at their previous business (Freetrade, Cazoo, Primer.ai, etc.), and I went on a similar journey with Tessian six years ago, going from $0-30m ARR, and from pre-seed to Series C (Sequoia, Accel, etc.).
There are no limits with this role, and we expect this person to be a future leader at Omnea as we scale.
You’ll do whatever it takes to support & champion our customers in their journey with Omnea. You’ll be spread across multiple areas — Product Delivery, Product Config/Ops, and Customer Success — and the role will naturally evolve over time as we scale & you find your areas of strength. There’ll be a constant mix of strategic work (advising customers on product config, building our customer success strategy, etc.) and operational work (managing onboarding & deployments, working with product to prioritise roadmap features for customers, etc.). And you’ll consistently be building meaningful relationships with customers, becoming their go-to person for all things Omnea.
You’ll be the second customer-facing hire at one of Europe’s fastest-growing early-stage companies working alongside an experienced team who have done this before, with the best investors and teams out there.
You’ll learn how to deploy a new & evolving SaaS product to some of the world’s most renowned tech companies by actually doing it (we don’t expect you to know yet).
Product Config/Ops: You’ll initially spend the majority of your time on configuring & deploying the product with customers — being product expert & consultant to the customer as they begin their journey with Omnea.
Customer Success: You’ll be the second Customer Success person at Omnea and will support in building the foundation of our Customer Success strategy, working out how we’ll achieve best-in-class retention & upsell and maintain the happiest customer base possible.
You’ll present Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and ensure customers see the ROI of Omnea, and continue to discover new use cases.
Over time, you’ll hone your commercial skills and learn how to upsell customers new modules & help to drive new revenue streams for Omnea.
Product Delivery: You’ll create best-in-class deployment & education guides, initially hand-holding customers through the process, and later allowing them to self-serve
You’ll work broadly across the business & report to our founder CEO. You will regularly interface with engineering, product, sales (& of course our customers!)
You’ll work with our CEO & sales team supporting on late-stage deals and then be the customer’s main contact point up to Exec level from the initial onboarding onwards
You’ll work with our CTO, product & engineering teams leading all customer deployment work and becoming the voice of the customer internally, discovering new use cases & helping to prioritise our roadmap & beta test new features
You’ll become an expert at building relationships & managing stakeholders at every level, from junior procurement analysts to CFOs / Board Members. You’ll be viewed as an extension of their teams & they will call upon you for advice & support
You’ll build Omnea’s customer community by helping to create content, hosting events, and sharing best practices across the customer base
Optional: You’ll also network with CFOs & procurement leaders, attend events on behalf of Omnea across the world, and become a thought-leader in this space over time
